It has major parts in the Himalayas but also has parts of the Indus Valley, bordering Pakistan. It's the 48th largest state by size and the third largest by population. The climate here is very conducive to tourists, as it is quite moderate in most places.

The main tourist attractions are Kathmandu and Mount Everest. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and it's where you will find most of the tour packages. However, a lot of people in Nepal today can be classified as belonging to specific ethnic groups.

Most Nepalis come from ethnic groups that have roots in India. The most prominent group is the Nepalis who are of Indo-Iranian descent. The majority of these ethnic Nepali people belong to the Biryani-speaking ethnic group which originated in the western part of the country. 

They speak a Bihari dialect called Kata, or Katha. The next most prominent ethnic group in Nepal is the ethnic Khasi and Dalit communities, who live in southern, eastern and northern parts of the country. The Kolis are an ethnic group that lives in the plains of central and western Nepal. The Brahmin, the upper class caste group, is believed to be the largest ethnic group in Nepal.

A large number of ethnic Nepalis come from the Pashupatinath and Mahara ethnic groups, who are also of Indo-Iranian descent. There are also many ethnic Nepalis who belong to other ethnic groups such as the Langtang, Lumbini and Lumba. 

People of ethnic Nepal are known for their rich cultural heritage, rich literature, and rich art. They have also contributed greatly to Nepal's development by offering various forms of contributions including crafts such as embroidery, carpentry, woodworking, metalwork, pottery and other art forms. Ethnic Nepalis usually practice Buddhism, a religion that was introduced by Buddha in India. In addition, the language spoken by them, Bihari, is widely used by Nepalese.

Another group of ethnic Nepalese is the Tibetans who live in the north and southwest of the country. They are members of an Indo-Chinese ethnic group and speak Tibeto-Burmese dialect. The third most dominant ethnic group in Nepal is the Gelungs. who are mainly found in the mountains of the north and southeast?

Ethnic Nepalis may also belong to various other ethnic groups. For example, the Jholawati people come from the Kailash district in the western part of the country and speak an Indo-Nepali dialect. language. These ethnic Nepalis are believed to be the ancestors of many Nepalis who came from the foothills of the Himalayas.

Ethnic Nepalese people are considered as one of the main groups of ethnic Nepal because they have contributed a lot to the country's development and culture. Although they may not be the same as people belonging to the majority group in the country, ethnic Nepalis do have their own identity.
